Business E-Book Reading List

My updated reading list of the 50 e-books that I recommend for getting comprehensive business administration knowledge. This is a shorter and updated version of my popular earlier blog post on self-learning MBA-style knowledge.

Introduction
This is a follow-up on my previous blog post (Self-Study MBA Reading List) that has gotten over 10,000 clicks from Google Search during the past 16 months and has been the first Google search result for ‘mba books’. Since then, I have continued to read and learn. At this point, I recommend a shorter list of books that I consider a better mix with less overlap. I have read 50% of these books when I write this and I’m planning on reading the rest. I have had a close look at all. When I finish more books, I will probably update this blog post.
Some of these books are very thick and academic, but others are shorter and more easy-to-read. My goal is that this reading list should be possible to realistically read in full over 1 to 3 years outside of work or be used to find individual books to read. At the same time, the goal is also to make sure that anyone who reads all these books should have more than enough general business knowledge to be a manager, executive, or entrepreneur and that the knowledge provided by these books should be at least comparable to a typical MBA degree.
All these books are available as ePUB (mobile friendly) e-books from Perlego, which offers one affordable way to read them all. I link directly to Perlego for each book. Some are also available as audiobooks. In other words, all these high-quality books can be read on your smartphone in an affordable way!
There are many more good books on the topic and I have read over 200 books on my ‘business’ bookshelf at Goodreads. The specific focus here is on my most recommended up-to-date books for gaining high-quality practical business knowledge in general, without specialising in any specific area. I have additional recommendations for Books on Leading Software Development.
